Houphan Project
ASI is collaborating with SPC to build a meeting hall and a library for a secondary education school in a remote area of Laos. The villagers are extremely poor, don’t have enough protein to go around and there is a scarcity of healthcare. They live with an amazing concentration of UXO in each village. The little school “campus” receives students from at least 8 villages. So it is a bit like a regional high school. Located at 6,000 feet in the foothills of the Himalayas, we will also provide heat pumps. Attached is a PDF of a PowerPoint presentation from Ken Hayes.
