Vieng Xai, Laos July 2017

Church Members raised an additional $21,000 to be used to continue building The Jason School in a remote village in the jungles of this impoverished country. Prior to this gift to the village, the church had raised close to $40,000. The church also has commitments of about $20,000 to finish the block and mortar school by years end. The school will be attended by more than 250 elementary school age students. In addition to funds already spent and committed, another $10,000 is sought to make the school more girl friendly. Want to help? Send a check made out to Stockton Presbyterian Church and on the memo line write in Jason School.

The Jason School

We are building a school in Laos in memory of long-time member Jason Fuhr, who passed away in early 2014.   The school will educate some 250 elementary aged students in the village of Vieng Xay Na Laung.

This project is spearheaded by Elder Ken Hayes, president of Aqua Survey in Flemington NJ.  We are partnering with church, business, educational and community contacts for this endeavor.

100% of your gift will go to the construction of the  Jason School.  Please write “Jason School” on the memo line of your check.
