The grace and peace of Jesus Christ be with you!
Here are a few tips for navigating this site: You are invited to use this site to find out information about the Stockton church, and to learn a little bit of who we are and what we do. If you are a member, we hope this equips you to participate in the mission and ministry that God has called you to when you made the decision to join this congregation. If you are a friend, we hope you find the same encouragement and hope in Christ that we seek. If you are a skeptic, we hope we don’t turn you off to the One we gather to worship each Sunday. If you are looking for a church home, our hope is that what is portrayed on this site is an authentic expression of what you might find if you walked in the doors of our sanctuary.
Our links speak to our values. They are not the only ‘good’ links–we could have posted thousands. And sometimes they might change. Mission links point you to organizations that are trying to bring justice and peace to the world. Spiritual growth links connect you with Christian thinkers and movements that are influential and that Pastor Ken perceives as beneficial for your spirit. Area Churches and Groups are connections that have existed or do exist with the congregation—they remind us that we are connected in Christ to all believers and congregations and connected to all people as part of the human family. If one is hurting, everyone hurts, and if one is succeeding, everyone is succeeding. We hope you enjoy!
Twitter answers the question: What are you doing right now? It is a social network that helps get the word out about what we are doing. If you are a twitter member, follow us as we let people know what we are doing right now and invite those interested to participate.
Pastor Ponderings are links to Pastor Ken’s blog, ponderingparadox.blogspot.com. Everytime he posts an entry on his blog, it will appear under the Pondering page. His posts include sermons, history lessons for Kean University’s America as Civil Society and Western Civilization courses or updates on his books The Answer is Yes: Both/And Theology in an Either/Or World and If I Were A Puzzle.
